Life slowly pushed me into this. I realized that if I’m going to do it, why not do it properly and perfectly? If you want to do something, do it right. Don't just be a half-empty bucket of water.

Biography
Paul Chai is a Kuching-based entrepreneur and the founder of Hua Kin Structural Company, a firm specializing in roofing, maintenance, and industrial rope access. Born in 1994, Paul spent his early childhood in Brunei before returning to Sarawak in 2003. He learned the foundations of the construction and roofing trade by working alongside his father, whom he viewed as a "superman" capable of fixing anything.
Following his father’s passing in 2018, Paul took over the business, navigating periods of extreme financial difficulty—including a three-month stretch with no clients. Driven by a desire to provide unique services that competitors could not match, he specialized in rope access, a technique utilizing ropes and harnesses to perform maintenance on high-rise structures where scaffolding is impractical. Today, Paul is one of the few certified rope access technicians in Kuching, known for his commitment to safety and his "no corner-cutting" approach to structural repairs.
