Biography
Jimsley is a technology entrepreneur and the Director at ARX Media, an innovative software company based in Kuching, Sarawak. Originally trained as a civil engineer at Swinburne University of Technology (graduating in 2011), he chose to pivot away from a traditional engineering career to follow his passion for technology and startups.
Under his leadership, ARX Media—which stands for "A Revolutionary Experience"—has evolved from a creative agency into a forward-thinking AI development house. Jimsley has guided the company through several critical pivots, including early work in AR/VR modeling for construction and developing software solutions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, Jimsley is focused on building Isekai, a worldwide AI platform designed to empower creators and address global social issues such as loneliness. By integrating generative AI with visual storytelling, he aims to create a "sharing economy" where artists and writers can monetize their characters and narratives.
A strong advocate for the local tech ecosystem, Jimsley is committed to proving that world-class technology can be built in Sarawak. He believes that while AI will "shuffle" the global economy, the human "sense of art" and creative intuition remain irreplaceable assets in the coming AI era.
